Where everything starts
The Consultation Is the Treatment.
Nobody is treated at Luxe without sitting down with Lindsay first. Not because it is a formality, but because the half hour beforehand is the part that decides whether you are pleased in three months’ time.
- How long
- Around 30 minutes, longer if you need it
- Cost
- Confirmed when you book
- Treated on the day
- No, never
- Bring

Thirty minutes, minute by minute
What the Half Hour Is Actually For
The clock runs as you scroll. On a phone, step through it a minute at a time.
Minute 00
You Arrive
The door is yours: there is nobody else in the building and no reception desk. You sit down, and the first question is not which treatment you want.
Minute 05
What You Have Noticed
In the mirror, in photographs, on a video call. Lindsay is listening for the thing that actually bothers you, which is often not where the treatment would go.
Minute 12
Looking, Properly
How your face moves, where it has lost support, where lines sit at rest and where they only appear on movement. Assessment, not a chart.
Minute 20
The Straight Answer
What would help, what would not, what to leave alone, what order to do things in, what it costs and how long it lasts.
Minute 26
Your Questions
Anything at all. A second pair of ears is welcome, and nothing is booked on the day.
Minute 30
You Go Away
And you think about it. Plenty of people come back weeks later, and plenty are told they do not need anything yet.
01Why Nothing Happens on the Day
Most disappointing results do not come from poor technique. They come from a plan nobody properly discussed, so the consultation and the treatment are separate appointments, with time in between for you to think.
For anything prescription-only the prescriber must also see you in person before anything is prescribed. That has been required by the prescribing regulators since June 2025, and it is how this clinic has always worked.
02What Actually Happens
You will be the only client here. Lindsay will ask what is bothering you, not which treatment you want, but what you notice in the mirror, in photographs, on a video call.
Often the thing that bothers you and the thing that needs treating are in different places. A hollow cheek shows up as a line by the mouth. A tired look is usually the eye socket rather than the eyelid. Working that out is the job.
Then you get a straight answer: what would help, what would not, what order to do things in, what it costs and how long it lasts. If the honest answer is that you do not need anything yet, that is what you will be told. If what you want is not achievable without surgery, you will be told that too.
03Worth Bringing
- Photo ID. Required, no exceptions
- A list of anything you take regularly
- A photograph of yourself from five or ten years ago, if you have one
- Any dates coming up: a wedding, a holiday, a big birthday
- Light make-up, or none at all
04Questions People Ask Before They Come
I Have Never Had Anything Done. Will I Feel Out of Place?
No. A good number of the people Lindsay sees are having their first appointment, and plenty have been thinking about it for years. Luxe is one room and one client at a time. There is no waiting area, nobody else in the building and no one watching. You can come simply to ask questions and go away again.
Do I Have to Book Treatment on the Day?
No. Plenty of people go away and think about it, and nobody chases you.
Can I Bring Someone?
Yes, and lots of people do. A second pair of ears is genuinely useful.
Will You Tell Me If I Do Not Need Anything?
Yes. It happens often, and it is one of the reasons people come back.
