Microneedling and Dermaplaning.
Two treatments that do different jobs and work better together. One takes the dead surface off, the other tells the skin underneath to rebuild. Assessed and tailored rather than run to a script.

What people come in for
What It Improves

How it works
What Dermaplaning Is
A gentle exfoliating treatment using a specialist sterile blade to lift away the build-up of dead skin cells and the fine facial hair people call peach fuzz. It leaves the skin genuinely smooth and, just as importantly, creates a clean surface for whatever comes next.
- Removes dead surface skin cells
- Removes fine vellus facial hair
- Leaves skin smoother and softer to the touch
- Improves the look of dull or tired skin
- Helps skincare absorb more evenly
- Gives make-up a beautifully smooth base
What Microneedling Is
A minimally invasive rejuvenation treatment that creates thousands of tiny controlled channels in the skin. Those controlled micro-injuries switch on the skin’s own repair response, which is what drives the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin.
The aim is not to change how you look. It is to make the skin itself healthier, smoother and more even, which is a different and longer-lasting thing.
Personalised Serums, Because Every Skin Is Different
After assessing your skin, an appropriate professional serum or rejuvenating formulation is selected for what we are actually trying to achieve. Hydration, antioxidant protection, recovery, or where appropriate specialist regenerative formulations such as polynucleotides.
Microneedling temporarily opens channels in the skin, which is exactly why product selection matters so much. Only products appropriate for the treatment being performed are used here, and nothing goes on your face simply because it was already open on the trolley.
Why Combine the Two
Dermaplaning works on the surface, taking away dead cells and fine hair. Microneedling works underneath, stimulating repair and collagen. Together they leave the complexion smoother, brighter, fresher, more even and better hydrated than either does alone.
How Many Will I Need
You will often feel the difference after the first session, but this is a progressive treatment. Collagen remodelling takes time, and improvement keeps developing over the weeks that follow. For real change in skin quality, fine lines, texture or scarring, expect a course of roughly three to six treatments about four to six weeks apart. After that, occasional maintenance keeps it.
One takes off, one builds up
Try It on the Skin Itself
Drag across the surface to dermaplane it. Then switch to microneedling and watch what happens underneath, which is the part you actually pay for.
The surface is dead cells and fine vellus hair. Taking it away is what makes skin feel smooth the same day, and it is what lets everything else reach further.
Afterwards
What Happens, and When
01 Straight after
Like a Mild Sunburn
Redness, warmth, tightness and some sensitivity are normal, and mild swelling can happen. Your skin may also feel drier over the next few days.
02 First 24 hours
Leave It Alone
Keep the skin clean, use only what you are told to, and skip make-up. No strenuous exercise or sweating, no swimming, sauna or steam room, and nothing hot.
03 Days 2 to 5
Possible Light Flaking
Some people get dryness or light flaking. Do not pick it or exfoliate it. Let it shed on its own. Keep retinol, acids and anything active out of your routine until your skin has recovered, and protect it properly from UV.
04 Weeks 4 to 12
The Part You Actually Paid For
The smoothness comes quickly. The collagen remodelling does not. It builds progressively over the weeks after each session, which is why a course outperforms a single treatment for texture, scarring and fine lines.

Is This Right for You?
Tick anything that sounds like you. Nothing is recorded, and nothing here is a diagnosis: it is the conversation you would have in the room, started early.
Tick what applies and you will be told where that leaves you.

When Would the Course Actually Fall?
Pick a start and a reason. The sessions land four to six weeks apart, and you are shown the date to judge it by, which is later than most people expect.
Four to six weeks apart is the range; the plan shows five. Your own spacing is set after your skin is looked at.

What it costs
Microneedling and Dermaplaning
A course is usually three to six sessions, four to six weeks apart, and the number is decided after your skin is assessed rather than sold to you up front.

Questions People Ask
It is uncomfortable rather than painful, and comfort measures are discussed with you beforehand. Dermaplaning itself is painless. Most people find it oddly relaxing.
No. Vellus hair grows back exactly as it was. It feels different for a few days because it has been cut straight across rather than tapering, and then it does not.
After dermaplaning alone, the same day. After microneedling, leave it at least 24 hours or for as long as you are advised.
Usually three to six, four to six weeks apart, depending on your skin and what you want changed. Some people come once before an event and that is a perfectly good reason too.
Yes, and it often is, with PRP for scarring, or as part of a plan alongside filler or a peel. Intervals are planned around your skin rather than your diary.
Microneedling is generally well tolerated across skin types, but every skin is assessed individually and the settings and products are chosen accordingly.
