PDO Thread Lift.
Fine, absorbable threads placed beneath the skin to lift the cheeks and jowls. The lift you see on the day is only the beginning: the real work is the collagen your skin builds around them over the months that follow.

The part nobody explains
Watch the Thread Go, and the Lift Stay
Drag through the months. The thread is only ever the beginning; what holds the lift afterwards is the collagen your own skin has built along it.
The threads are placed and you see a lift the same day. It is real, and it is the least of what is about to happen.
What people come in for
What a Thread Lift Is For
01 / 06
Cheeks That Have Dropped
The mid-face is where the first real softening shows. Threads placed along the cheek give it back its line, and the lift is felt in the lower face as well.
02 / 06
Early Jowls
The point at which the jawline stops being a line. A thread lift restores definition along the jaw and takes the weight off the corners of the mouth.
03 / 06
Skin That Has Lost Its Bounce
Texture, fine lines and elasticity all improve as the collagen builds, which is why people notice their skin quality change as much as the lift.
04 / 06
The Neck
Threads can be used along the neck where laxity is early and the structure underneath is sound.
05 / 06
Around the Eyes
For the outer brow and the upper cheek, in the right person. This is assessed carefully, and it is not the place to start.
06 / 06
Something Between Skin and Surgery
For people who want more than skin treatment can give and are not looking for an operation. That is exactly the gap threads fill.
How it works
What a PDO Thread Actually Is
PDO stands for polydioxanone, a biodegradable polyester that has been used as suture material in surgery since the 1980s. It is well understood, it does not damage skin tissue, and the body breaks it down completely. The threads used here are ultra-fine and transparent, and they cannot be seen once placed.
Why It Is Not Simply a Pull
The principle is not to drag the skin into a new position and pin it there. A thread gives an immediate lift, but its lasting effect comes from the way the body responds to it: it builds new collagen along the thread and improves blood supply to the area. Skin texture, fine lines and elasticity all improve as a result, and that improvement outlives the thread itself.
The threads are absorbed naturally over six to eight months. The collagen they have built stays, which is why results usually hold for a year to eighteen months.
Where It Is Used
Cheeks and jowls are the most common areas, and the ones this price covers. The neck and the area around the eyes can also be treated in the right person. Whether threads are the right answer for you, rather than filler or skin treatment, is decided at consultation and not before.
What It Feels Like
The area is numbed beforehand. Most people describe pressure and a pulling sensation rather than pain. Afterwards there is tightness, some swelling and sometimes bruising, and the lower face is treated in a way that keeps puffiness to a minimum.

Afterwards
What Happens, and When
01 Straight after
You Will See a Lift on the Day
Expect tightness, some swelling and possibly bruising. The lift you see now is the immediate effect of the threads, and it settles over the following days.
02 The first week
Treat It Gently
Sleep on your back with your head raised. Avoid wide mouth opening, hard chewing, facial treatments and strenuous exercise. Do not massage or press on the area.
03 Weeks 2 to 6
Swelling Goes, Collagen Builds
The swelling resolves and the face settles into its new line. Underneath, the skin is building collagen along each thread, which is where the lasting result comes from.
04 Months 6 to 18
The Threads Go, the Lift Stays
The threads absorb over six to eight months. The collagen they built remains, and results usually hold for twelve to eighteen months before you decide again.
Before you decide
Is This Right for You?
Tick anything that sounds like you. Nothing is recorded, and nothing here is a diagnosis: it is the conversation you would have in the room, started early.
Tick what applies and you will be told where that leaves you.

Questions People Ask
The threads themselves absorb over six to eight months. The collagen they build stays, so results usually hold for twelve to eighteen months.
The area is numbed first. Most people describe pressure and pulling rather than pain, and tightness for a few days afterwards.
No. They are ultra-fine and transparent, and once placed they cannot be seen.
No. It is a non-surgical lift for early softening, and it is honest to say it does not do what surgery does. Where laxity is significant you will be told that threads are not the right answer.
Often, yes. Threads for lift alongside skin boosters or microneedling for quality is a common plan, staged over weeks rather than done together.
No. Every treatment here starts with a face-to-face consultation, and you go away and think about it.
